March Nutrition Month

Today marks the launch of March Nutrition Month.  Every day in March, our staff, board, interns, and supporters will blog about their own nutritional goals and challenges.  Everyone has different nutritional needs and it can often be helpful to get tips from others to try new things or make a change.  For example, a few months ago I was diagnosed with gluten intolerance.  It has taken me some time to learn to cook with new grains and try some new foods to eliminate gluten from my diet.  I was glad to find resources like King Arthur Flour's gluten free mixes and flours.  Their website is full of great recipes to eat gluten free!  Throughout the month I hope you will comment on our blog posts with your questions and suggestions.  Our nutrition education team will be monitoring the blog and look forward to responding to your comments.  Enjoy the posts and eat well!
