National Anti-Hunger Policy Conference

On Saturday I will travel to Washington, DC with my colleagues to gather with other anti-hunger leaders from across the country at the National Anti-Hunger Policy Conference.  This conference is an opportunity for our staff to connect with other organizations to both share our innovative strategies and get inspiration for programs that could be successfully replicated in Vermont.  Click here to check out the agenda for this meeting.  It is also a chance for our team to visit with top USDA officials and our Congressional Delegation.  This year I will be visiting with our Congressional Delegation on Tuesday, February 28^th to share the Vermont Farm Bill Coalition’s recommendations for strengthening the upcoming reauthorization.  If you have not yet signed on to our recommendations click here.  The more signatures I have to deliver the louder our voices will be in Congress.
